How can we help?

We’re here to protect children’s rights in lots of different life situations. This includes, education, additional support needs, health, residence, youth offending, accessing records, confidentiality, social work and children’s rights. Children and young people under 21 can get in touch, as can family members, carers and professionals who support them.

Please complete this webform if you want to get in touch about training, volunteering, membership, partnership opportunities, young investigators’ work or indeed any wider enquiries.

You can also complete our webform and get free legal advice on children’s rights and child law from our qualified solicitors.

Please provide us with as much information as possible as this would assist the solicitor when providing legal advice.  It would also be helpful to know your questions for our solicitors.

ADVICE LINE CLOSED!

Unfortunately, we must temporarily shut our advice line.  We’re sorry for any inconvenience.

We know that free advice can be a lifeline for many families, young people and children facing difficult situations. In the meantime, we have a list of resources and organisation who can help here.

We would also recommend reaching out to Clan Childlaw:

Clan’s free helpline is there if you need to know about a child or young person’s rights or how the law affects a child or young person.  Clan’s helpline is there for:

  • Children and young people – under the age of 26.
  • Any adult who is supporting a child or young person with a question about or a problem with their rights or the law. That can include parents or family members, carers, advocacy workers, support workers, teachers, lawyers and social workers.

The helpline is open Monday to Friday 9 – 1pm, 2 – 5pm.  If our helpline is ever busy you can leave a message and one of their team will call you back. You can contact the helpline by calling on;

 0808 129 0522 (free from most mobile phones and landlines.)
